From Reds owner: Today will be one of the hardest days of my life. My world has revolved around my best friend of the last eighteen years and he had my heart at first sight. I will never be able to look into the beautiful big brown kind eyes of the sweetest and gentle stallion I ever had the privilege to own. All was good in the morning and the day started normally. His usual grain with his hay and his treats. He had never had a sick day his entire life. He was the picture of health. I was in... the barn and he was standing by his door and I decided to get him some warm water. When I came back with the water he was gone of an apparent heart attack. I am devastated but I feel God sent me away so I didn't witness his passing. My heart is broken and my life will never be the same. We will bury Reds Western Native here today and say our final goodbyes and I will thank him for all he has done for me and for being my best friend.

Aww, so sorry for Peanut, he was a huge part of her life. I do not personally know her but my brother in law and his wife are very good friends of theirs. That empty stall in the barn is going to be such a sad spot for a long time.
