I am looking to have a custom set done and was wondering who your favorite was and why. I want something unique that will last for a couple of years at least since it will be pretty pricey. I have looked at several but before I buy wanted to ask opinions.
I think it really can depend on what you like! I've seen a lot of leather workers that have their specialties, such as painting, bead work, tooling etc.
I got a painted set a few years back now from The Cowboy Junkie. It's held up pretty nicely, and I will be honest when I say I don't take the best care of my tack. lol
Lantern Lane Creations! Leah is great to work with. I've had this set for 2 years now & use it on several horses a day, it's still like new & gorgeous.
I have a Crown Leather set that I’ve had almost 5 years. I use the breastcollar every time I ride and the quality is amazing. I was able to custom order it and Jennifer had some great suggestions. I get compliments on my set all the time. Anytime I have needed a repair she has been awesome to fix it. I highly recommend Crown Leather.
Currently ordering from Rockin’ A and Amanda has been great! I’d steer clear of Crown Leather. I had an absolutely dismal experience with them and found many others who had, too. Found out some interesting info on them.
