Okay, so I am in kind of in an odd predicament. I am 18 and in my last year of High School Rodeo. My barrel/goat horse went lame to where she couldn't run barrels, but I thought I could maybe still goat tie off her, and it has become clear to me that I really can't do that either. I have a barrel horse to replace her (although he is young) but I don't have a goat horse to replace her. My replacement barrel horse is 16.1... I'm 5'2" and that's way too much of a drop. My pole horse tries to kill me and my breakaway horse stops. So I started doing some get offs at home on my 4 year old stallion who I plan to futurity in 2019, and he has been a rockstar. But I'm concerned that entering him, even if it isn't in barrels or poles or anything that has to do much with the horse will make him void for futurities. Long story short, here's my question: can a horse still futurity if it has been entered in a different discipline? I'm sure this doesn't happen often and I couldn't find a rule that said yes or no.

I have a trained goat tying horse that I bought that didn't know barrels, wow it was really hard for me to get her to loosen up on the left side. She braced every time we tried turning left. She was used to someone jumping off the left side that she stiffened up....just keep that in mind...haha!

Don't worry, I've trained a few goat horses already. In fact the one I had to retire was a barrel horse first. This guy just kinda goes along with whatever, we are already up to a trot in two days of training and he is straight as an arrow
