| So sorry you are going through this! Definitely keep on stall rest for however long your vet recommends...do not push and let him out early, just because he gets fiery. Keep him calm as possible =] Maybe a toy, or a boredom treat that takes a while to eat - access to hay 24/7 if you can. Are you doing a gel cast until it's set? I have had really good luck using magnetic wrap/boots also! |

No cast, vet just suggested 4-6 months stall rest, wrapping with poultice, and cold hose. |

| Runners Relief. I use the old school powder kind, I use one pack to soak their leg, and another pack to put in my Furazone - just heat it up in the microwave and pour a packet in - stirr let it settle and use DMSO under it. If you cant find the old school soack they make a poultice and its okay better than anything else but NOT better than the soak. |

I did PRP on my mare with holes in her DDFT rather than a bow. We have our appointment to reultrasound this Thursday. But, I think she's going to have pretty good improvement, based on how she's moving. I've been taking her out of her stall to hand walk for like 5 minutes (just decided on my own, the vet didn't recommend it, but I think she's needed it for her sanity, and based on others experience) and she's moving great. |

| Cytowave they are expensive to rent but they work. My mare bowed her digital flexer also. She's been sound on it for 2 years now you actually can't really tell it was ever bowed. |

How long did you do treatments for and what kind of time frame did you have for recovery. |

Location: Southern Indiana | I’ve healed 4 tendon lesions with just stall rest and time. I also cold hosed, poulticed, used back on track, & pht. When it comes time to ride then you need a plan to bring them back to pre injury shape. Usually takes a minimum of 90 Days after 6-8 months of rest. Mine never bowed...just had lesions with some swelling.

Treatments are everyday for 1 hour for 2 months. After the 2 months of treatments my mare was sound but I brought her back slowly. We did an ultrasound after the 2 months and her tears were completely healed. |

I agree completely! I have used it for many years and it has never failed me. Though I have never used it with DMSO. |

Just finished our re-ultrasound. Significant, good quality improvement in the holes we injected with the PRP. Today is 9.5 weeks since the PRP injections. |
