BE: It is more important who you are and whose you are....than what you do. Why? Because the attitudes of our hearts determine the action of our hands. BEING COMES BEFORE DOING....ALWAYS!
It is important to understand what our Lord is driving home here: these are the BE-attitudes and not the DO-attitudes. Being comes before doing, for what we do is always determined by who we are.
The BE-attitudes are to a set of rules, like the Ten Commandments have to do with actions: the Be-attitudes have to do with attitudes. The Ten Commandments have to do with conduct, the Be-attitudes have to do with character. Why is it imperative that we believers incrarnate these Be-attitudes into our very being? It is because our actions flow from our attitudes, and our conduct issues out of our character.
Matthew 5:6 ' Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled."
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. HELP me, remember who I am today, a child of the King! You love me, Christ loves me, and You refine my character for Your glory and my good. In Jesus Name Amen.
For it is with God ALL things are possible. Mark 10:26. Have a VERY BLESSED "BE" Monday ALL! God loves you and so do I!!

While I do agree with you and always appreciate your messages, in James 2:18, it very explicitly states, "But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds." So I think they both go hand in hand.
