I'll try to add pics I am not good at this. The saddle is a martin barrel racer. i think an older model. i'm not sure i bought it used. the horse is a 16 yr (approx) grade paint. he is cowhorse built. short 14.2, stocky. round but high withered. alot of drop in his back but not really sway back at all. i felt under just the bare saddle under his back and the bars seem to "gap" or lose good contact around the jockey / fenders hang area. that is the area where there has ben ruffled hairs. So I am pretty sure it must be bridging. I had ordered a custom pad to help fit but I don't think that is enough. it seems a little wide for him and sits down bumping/his shouders as they move. that said he is out of shape for sure...
what do you all think? I don't have anyone else to give me a good 2nd opinion. pics to follow . hopefully lol

If the saddle doesn't feel the same, pressure, from front to back, it isn't fitting. Shimming the area that has less pressure could help. You need a saddle with bars with more rock, curve.

Ok. Yeah I feel less pressure around the area where the fenders hang. Maybe I can find a local person to try a saddle. Here are more confirmation pics from today

Southtxponygirl - 2018-02-10 8:01 PM If you can I would try a Double J Pozzi #10 tree on this horse. Its got rock and fit horses that have more of a dip..
Would that be the standard tree in a pozzi? I am Not familiar with double j much at all. Sorry
Nope not the standard this is a different tree, #10 tree its got more rock to it.
