One of my closest friends had a baby Jan 13 with Downs Syndrome. When she was 3 days old she had to have surgery for intestinal blockage. From the 15th until last week she was NPO. Well today Miss Berklee Reagan Willhite came home from Children's in Little Rock!!!! I'm gonna send Miss Roxie a couple of pictures to maybe post for me. We are sooooo excited and give God all the glory for this beautiful and blessed child. I've had the flu so I can't get my hands on her yet unfortunately. . .
The ticket story was because Angela (momma) was afraid they would jinx themselves if they kept saying they might get to come home today, so she just said they were hoping to get their ticket to "go to the zoo"!!!!
Glad they're home!! Our second child (who is actually having her 1st birthday party today) was born a month early and had a hole in her lung. She was flown to Colorado Springs Memorial Hospital and it was the scariest two weeks of our lives. It's terrifying to have such a little baby have surgery. Bless them for finally being able to go home
