Does anybody on here use a back brace? If so, what kind? I have problems with my lower back. I go to a chiro but it seems like with the lifting of feed bags, alfalfa cube sacks and etc. that I could use a little support when I do those things.

I have one of the Professional's choice lower back braces. I have started using my knees and hips to lift. Much easier than using my back :)

I have started using a tens unit. Aleve makes one that is wireless. It works great. You can use it while you do horse stuff. It stimulates your back muscles. I love it.

I have always had lower back problems and all the drs that i talked to said to strengthen my core. When we have weak cores, we rely on our back to pick up the slack without even realizing it. My dr showed me just how much it effects us without even knowing it. Lifting with knees/squating also helps me as well.

I got a Copper Fit Back Support. Seems to be alright. Yes I know about strengthening your core muscles and etc. I am 67 years old and my old bones are wearing out I guess just wanted a little support for when I lift. Thanks for all the replies.
