Expert Posts: 1631 Location: Somewhere around here	I don't have it yet, I'm hoping it buy it next month, but I have high hopes for my custom made trail rider saddle pad from 5 star. It has the dropped rigging part and I can order any thickness I want.

Expert Posts: 3815 Location: The best kept secret in TX	A wither releief pad. Drop rigging makes a saddle fit closer to the wither. It allows the saddle to be snubbed closer to the back. Thus, I opt for a saddle pad like that of the 5 star descibed below to relieve pressure on the withers: 3/4" Barrel Racer Pad with high wither relief cut. Round back only, regular shaped front.

A Somebody to Everybody Posts: 41354 Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas	Yep, a 5 Star Trail Pad works with a droped rigging, you can also custom the width and the lenght of the pad.
