Does anyone feed Progressive Nutrition Feed? There is a diet balancer and Envision feed? Curious if anyone has fed it to their performance horses and in what amount do they feed? Thank you!

I bought a weanling in the fall that was on the grass based balancer. Cant say that I didnt like it. Wasnt a fan of their fat supplement (Envision). I was feeding about 3 lbs a day - what the bag suggested for his age at the time. I have heard a lot of people who really like it. I just saw better results personally feeing Renew Gold and Enrich.

We feed the grass balancer to the Friesian Sporthorse colt and I just started my barrel gelding on it. The colt's dam was on it while I was running her and I noticed a difference with them being off of it. Lack of shine, less spark, and less hoof growth (I know that one is weird).
I feed the colt two cups a day, the gelding gets one cup. We have to drive 45 minutes and pick up 10+ bags at a time, and it's pricey, but I'll keep my working ponies on it.
P.S. if you have a calf not wanting to start grain, this really entices them to eat.

Thank you both so much...... I have the Enrich and the Alfalfa balancer feed. I have an old gelding on it and he seems to be doing quite well. He is 32, so he isn't probably going to get "better" but he sure maintains his weight and seems good! I have been feeding mainly renew gold and was thinking of replacing it with the progressive feeds. I feel like they are quite similar when I compared them. I also have to have the feed delivered compared to the renew I can just go to the store and grab. Thank you for your input I appreciate it!!

My senior hard keeper is on the Grass Balancer and Envision. I mix a bag of each together in the can. He eats 1/2 of a 3qt scoop twice a day and stays good weight. My barrel horses are on the ProElite HF which is currently getting a new name, but it is also made by Progressive. I go through 1 bag of the grass and Envision each month for the one horse and about 6 bags of the ProElite HF between the other 2 horses. I have them on the higher fat because the appendix eats enough for 3 horses herself and the other gets a little fired up on high fat feeds and he's super lazy. So I don't think the Balancer would work well for them. Our hay is about 80% alfafla so the old guy also gets soaked grass hay pellets as well for a little extra grass in his diet since they're all on dry lots. I really like the Progressive feeds so far. When I was loping for a cutter in Texas we fed several varieties of progressive and the horses all looked great and handled hard workouts easy.
