Location: The best kept secret in TX | Took my old girl to the vet yesterday for a check up. She's 11 this year. Lab/Chow Mix.
Teeth were perfect, weight was on point. Joints were great. (Had been fighting inflamation in the hip from hip dysplasia.) Heartworm negative. Vet said she was developing cataracts and too look at putting her on a supplement for joints, eyes, etc.
She suggested a few individual supplements but I don't see my girl taking 3 to 4 pills individually without a fight.
She is currently eating Nutrena Loyal Life All Life Stages Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe. Vet suggested switching her feed to a senior food if I didn't want to do supplements but she's been thriving on this food and feeling better than ever. She digests it really well. She's been on it about 6 months.
