Hey guys,
So we had a client offer us a mare that is a granddaughter of Dry Doc (full brother to Doc O'Lena) out of a Colonel Freckles bred mare. She is the sweetest thing and a massive 13.2hds LOL!!! She didn't show due to injury and is turning 22yrs old this year. Last year her owner tried to breed her AI but was a failure. Going on a limb here.....I'm thinking of taking her as her owner doesn't want her anymore and doesn't have the money to do a full work up on her at the moment.

Hypothetically......if I were to breed her to my Corona Cartel x Takin On The Cash son....would anyone here be interested?? Keeping if the foal is a filly but will probably sell if its a colt but my husband says he thinks it'll make a stellar roping horse.

Opinions???

I think it would make a cool little rope horse.

I'm not usually into the race/cow cross but that is one of the cow lines I really like. Dry Doc, Docs Oak and Colonel Freckles are favorites of mine. I feel it would be marketable as a barrel cross for you as well.
