Ok so technically he still has around 2 days left but tomato tomàto. Today we went to our first race of the year and I decided to do a ride time beforehand and I bought 4 exhibitions, hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. As some of you may know this is the same horse that I've had issues with for the past 2/3 years. I started him on Horse Hair Analysis about 60 days ago hoping to basically fix anything wrong with him. As I said before I bought for exhibitions and I only needed 1! He ran a great pattern and had an amazing first, second, and third barrel! Pushed him some so he wasn't just loping the pattern and I was so happy and giddy, and proud of my horse afterward! I decided the next time I go to a barrel race I will do another exhibition and treat it like an open run see if today was a fluke or not.
