I went with my trainer to a barrel race Saturday that was about 100 miles away. They ran over 700 horses and my trainer had 4 to run so it took awhile. She had a flat on the way up and by the time we go to the arena, there just was not time to call US RIDER. I called them after midnight and though it did take a little while to get there, they did come on out. Got the tire changed and we headed home. Just my opinion but very handy to have.

I have had them for several years and never had a reason to use them and then this year was stuck on the side of a very busy freeway with two horses in the trailer and when I called them was told it would take up to 2 hours to get a tow. The HP wanted me off the freeway ASAP so they called the tow service which came from a block down the road and took me to a repair shop right next to them and I was back on the road in the two hours it would have taken me to get a tow.
They were very friendly on the phone and sent me a reimbursement form (that was over a month ago and still have not received the reimbursement).
The HP told me that he has found they will often send a tow service from the closest MAJOR city even though the area where you are has the services and is highly populated. That is why I was told 2 hours.
This has made me re-think renewing when the time comes and will be looking in to other equine road services.

I have had occasion to use US Rider a number of times over the past 10 years or so. Never been disappointed. Once incident occured about 120 miles from home - a blowout that cut both the break lines and wiring to lights. Fairly quick response to change the tire and rewire and we were back in business.

I had a similar experience. I didn't renew for a couple years but did this year. It makes me feel a little safer.

Ive used them with the trailer and without the trailer. About a year and half ago I was traveling down I95 and stopped at a rest area to use bathroom and when i went to get back in my truck i put my foot on break pedal and it went to floor. I lost an o-ring in my power steering line. Called AAA as my parents and then i had been members 20+ years. They told me they wouldnt tow my truck because it was a 3500 dually. (its my daily driver) Called us rider and they were out with 30 min. Theyve also had to tow my truck and trailer due to transmission going out. They do come from weird places sometimes but you have limited options with a truck and horse trailer or even a dually

I have used them more than once. Had to have my truck towed from my front yard. Always good.
Yes I do have a jack and a brake over handle in my truck but the tire and wheel weigh 80+ pounds which I have kind of a hard time lifting. I am sure some of you gals have not problem
