| John 9:24-25 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind.. " Give glory to God by telling the truth," they said. ' We know this man is a sinner." He replied, " Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I SEE!
This story of the man who was born blind and healed by Jesus gives me great comfort. The Pharisees were in a dither about the miracle and kept drilling the man for an explanation. He truly didn't yet know much about Jesus, had no great theological background, but he was STILL ABLE to SHARE THE TRUTH: " I was blind but NOW I SEE!"
If we're not one to enjoy debate, we CAN STILL talk about our FAITH IN Jesus. Our job isn't to convince to prove, to shame , to demand or to defend Jesus. Jesus asks us to TELL. We can invite people to examine the Scriptures for themselves. We can let them know they are LOVED by their creator and Redeemer. And we can do what the blind man DID and SHARE our experiences with Jesus. ' No , I don't know all the answers, but I KNOW that Jesus CHANGED me.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible Mark 10:26. Have a VERY BLESSED Sharing Thursday ALL! God LOVES you! And so do I! |
