| Horseradish sauce, of course.
I also had some horseradish mashed potatoes at cattlemans in Fort Worth that I will have to try and recreate sometime.
Brussel sprouts roasted or pan fried with bacon. Roasted Asparagus with Italian seasonings and cheese. Any roasted vegetable medley seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, and crushed garlic is one of my go to’s - so much more flavor than plain old steamed veggies. |

What time is dinner? Want to make sure we leave in time to get there! Drooling!
I love prime rib, our Easter tradition is my grandmas fried chicken. I’m tackling it for the first time this year. |

Location: South Georgia | Mashed redskin potatoes, homemade mac and cheese, onion souffle (it is a cornbread/sour cream/onion concoction often called onion shortcake). I make prime rib also for Easter usually. Have you ever tried Pioneer Woman's salt/herb crust on it? To die for! I don't follow her cooking times, but I do use that rub recipe. I do 500 for 15 minutes and then 325 until it reaches 135 degrees internally.

Well, its not really pudding! They are more like big fluffy rolls. Takes a special muffin tin to make, or so I've seen. And they are scrumptious! https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=lAcJt46r&id=EA5884BB725356DCA2C39134A28D01A68E4334FA&thid=OIP.lAcJt46raOZscP15n_yJ0AHaFp&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fpassionsideasanddreams.files.wordpress.com%2F2012%2F01%2Fpopovers-2-500dpi.jpg&exph=1332&expw=1747&q=yorkshire+pudding&simid=608025328150777113&ajaxhist=0 |

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | I JUST threw away a recipe for Yorkshire Pudding, last weekend. I wish I would have read this thread, first. I was really needing to whittle down my collection of "want-to-makes' and thought maybe this was an English recipe that nobody around me would be interested in.
Someone, please share your tried and loved recipe. please :) |
