I was wondering what you are paying. I see tractor supply has it for $35 for only 30 pounds. I don't remember what it cost when it first came out but I think it was considerably cheaper than that.

Some independent stores in CA are right around $30. TSC takes it into their distribution centers and the freight from there dictates the price in different TSC stores. All TSC Renew Gold comes from our Ohio plant. Independent West coast store product comes from our CA plant and therefore has less freight on it and may be priced less. We can not tell a store what to sell it for. Our price to distributors has not gone up, but freight may have.

Find it where its cheapest and see if they will price match if its closer for you! I do this with my feed. Can get it super cheap from the amish but its a 40 min drive for me. The local family, farm and home sells the same feed but its $4 more a bag so they price match it for me. Save money and miles :

How much fuel do you use/Cost in driving that additional 40 minute round trip??? My dodge dually gets approx 17MPG so it would take me about 2-3 gallons of fuel to drive that distance. Which here in Calif, Diesel is $3.50 a gallon at its cheapest so it would cost about 7-8.00 of fuel to drive and save 10.00. For 2.00 difference, I would support the local co op. Now if you could make it to where your already passing through and you can get 2 birds with one stone, makes sense. My neighbor drives 25 miles ONE WAY to fill up his car with gas because its 18 cents cheaper.

But if she's buying multiple bags at one time....the $10/bag savings would add up, even if it cost her $10 to drive there.

I pay $29 for a bag too. I am in Minnesota.

In that case, yes. I would also support my local co-op but I use our gas saver which gets about 31 MPG and then I pick up 2-3 bags at a time. Store it properly so I make about 1 trip every 3-ish months!

Last month the TSC website showed it was $31.99. but when I went to the store it was still $29.99. So not sure what happened there...
Just checked, and it is back to $29.99 on the site also.

Our local feedstore has it for around $40. Now I do like to support them, since it is a family run store, but I have to think about my wallet too. So I get it at TSC and stuff that is comparable in price I will get at the local store.

Exactly. Plus I only feed it to one horse so multiple bags really last me a while!

I'm paying about $35 at my local feed store. My TSC doesn't carry it, even though I can order it from them. It's just easier for me to run to the feed store when I need it and I'd rather support a local business than a big chain :)

I'm in north Texas.

Winwillows, is the senior one available yet? I hadn't seen it in any of our local feed stores yet as well as it seems like TSC isn't carrying Renew Gold at all here anymore. Or maybe they are just always out which is good for you bad for me, LOL!!!

First, yes the Senior has shipped. Independent regional Distributors have it in stock now, but you may need to ask your independent feed store to get it in. The stores have been told that the Senior is available, but that does not mean that they remember or care.

TSC had their biggest week of Renew Gold sales last week. So, my guess is that your store was out. They are slow to increase what they hold in stock in the stores, but they are getting better, and we are really pushing them to stay stocked. I get an in stock report, and last week 93.5% of the TSC stores had RG in inventory. They will continue to get better, but if you have a store that needs a little push to keep up just give me a call or PM and I will get involved to see that they are supplied. The Senior will not be in TSC until the new floor plan goes into effect in August. They change twice per year, February and August, and we were not ready early enough to make the February changes.

Thank you...I did ask the local feed store to get me a bag of the senior. And I figured as much on the TSC in our town, they typically only carry 3-4 bags of the RG and if you aren't there the day they get it in then they dont' have it. Local feed store is about 3 dollars more so try to get it at TSC if possible.
