Psalm 25:4 SHOW me Your ways, O Lord, TEACH me Your paths
When we want to FIND God's will, it is essential that we KNOW our Bible. After all, God will never lead one of His followers to do anything that is contrary to the Scriptures. That's one reason Paul exhorted us believers to " let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom' Colossians 3:16. When we know Christ, we being led by His Spirit, and are abiding in His Word, we will be more sensitive to God's guidance in our life.
God will not call you to a certain endeavor without first planting a desire within your heart to do that very thing. See Psalm 37:4
Just because we have a desire does not necessary mean it is God's will for us. If it is God's will, the desire will by accompanied by an opportunity. We are to keep walking according to our desires an opportunities, trusting that God will shut the door if this path is not His will. If a certain thing is God's will for you, the you can be sure He will plant a desire within your heart to do it. In His presence is fullness of joy Psalm 16:11. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Mark 10:26
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Lord, align my own desires with Your Word today. In Jesus' Name AMEN
