Location: London Ontario | We are looking at booking a trip to Cali end of july/first week of august. We are thinking of going monday- friday. We are hoping to stay in LA monday/tuesday, then go somewhere else for wed-fri, and flying back out of LAX.
First two days would be more city stuff - then what do you recommend we do? Would like to hit the coast one day and then country/horse stuff if possible the next two days(or something along those lines) |

| CA was one of my favorite trips! Disneyland has some new stuff. We started in Eureka (north) saw the AMAZING redwood trees & drove down the coast from there to San Francisco. Really enjoyed Alcatraz tour - you need to get tickets NOW! We were in SF just 2 days liked small tour of it. Husband wanted to go to Napa Valley for ballon ride- BIG WASTE OF TIMR FOR ME. Wasn't impressed. In San Jose we saw the Winchester house it was ntetesting. Ended our trip at Disney which was fabulous. We were there in July also but loved our trip in CA! Have fun??
I'm from TX & had to laugh at the people in line at Disney- they were complaining about July heat! It was GREAT weather for us mid 80s-90 w low humidity!!!! |

| If you want to do horse type stuff on some of those days look into visiting Santa Ynez area those days. Lots of wine and wine tasting if your into that and mega million dollar ranches and horse facilities all around there. Its about a 2 hour drive from LA to that area. |

| If you head north about 4 hours, there's a ton to do in Pismo Beach. Wineries all around that are super nice. There's a place that you can rent horses and go for a ride on the beach, or a ride up to the top of Madonna Mountain. San Luis is about 15 minutes north of that and there are lots of awesome places to eat there. Firestone Grill is a local favorite. There's dune buggies you can rent out on the beach as well. The weather is very mild. Usually right in the 70's about that time of year. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Remember though CA is a very long state, LOL!!! If you are in Los A for a few days a trip to San Fran area is about an 8 hour drive so plan accordingly. Its a beautiful state, ocean/coast on one side, big beautiful mountains on the other with some beautiful valleys in between. Enjoy! |

Location: London Ontario | Just bumping this up - we have booked our flights for Monday - Sunday. We plan on doing LA Monday afternoon and then heading north. we can finish up LA Saturday evening before heading to the airport to depart Sunday.
So far we have on the list to see: Big Sur, Redwood trees, Santa Ynez, Prismo Beach, Santa Anita race track, Alcatraz. Not sure if we could fit Lake Tahoe, Napa or Yosemite in or not... any other ideas? |

I would plan on coming back again. You have about three weeks on your list. I would not plan on getting North of San Louis Obispo and just enjoy Southern Ca without all the travel. Next time, Fly into the San Francisco bay area and do the Napa Valley, SF bay, and the North Coast. Or fly into Reno and see Lake Tahoe area. |
