Have you ever noticed that when something takes you by surprise , your first reaction is usually the wrong one? As spiritual as we think we are, we do not seem to be wired for the unexpected. Now, that does not mean we stay that way or that our minds and spirits don't get in gear, and we do the right thing. It's jus that when life throws us a curve ball, it takes us time to make an attitude adjustment.
In Psalm 60:1-12 O God, You have cast us off; you have broken us down; you have been displeased. OH, RESTORE US! See David TRUSTED IN The Lord and the Lord HONORED his FAITH. The storms will come, but REMEMBER, GOD IS FAITHFUL. He didn't save you to spoil your life, but to BLESS you and be GLORIFIED THROUGH you. When the surprises come, STAND ON THE PROMISE OF GOD.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN AMEN AMEN
