We're not as cold as you guys but its cold darn it!!! The horses I'm not worried about its the poor Humming birds that I feed out here and the Barn Swallow's that live on my front porch during the summer they feed on flying bugs and the bugs have not been flying..The poor Hummers been fluffed up all day sitting on the feeders..I feel so bad for them , I hope that we get sunshine tomorrow with a good warm up. |

And I had the get the heaters and blankets back out for the little doggies, they are loving their heaters once again..

Location: CTX | Ugh, we went from 82 on Friday to 38 (windchill 26 ) on Saturday!!! And today we should be back in the 60's!! I was sure glad to see my mare still holding the baby hostage this morning, would have hated to have it born on such a nasty cold day... But now she can have it as far as I am concerned!! 258 days so far... |

LOL, in the morning I can have two lite jackets and warm pajamas pants on but as I'm feeding I start taking off the jackets as it warms up really fast around here. Yep I would tell folks to bring summer and winter clothes with them during the winter months, one day its in the low 40's the next in the 70's.. |

Yeah, we moved to South Central Texas and was thinking...No More Cold Winters. Boy did I get fooled when the temps got into the teens for a few days. I wasn't ready for that crap. Yesterday and today have just been cold and dreary. |
