I had a gelding by an own son of King Fritz and out of race bred mare. Super good looking and athletic but very fragile minded. He was very spooky on the ground but once you got on him the brokest thing you ever rode. I mainly roped on him but started him on the barrels as he showed a ton of potential. Had a ton of speed and ability. Just wish he had a better mind...not blaming either side of the pedigree as we have had horses from both lineages and they were fine. Maybe the combination or his experiences before he came to our house (we bought him as a unbroke 2 year old). Anyway, sold him and new owners ran barrels on him instead of roping.

I had one, but he cut 2 tendons at age 2 and I had to give him away as a pasture pet. He was quick and super smart. He was running bred paint lines, I don't remember the names. He could get goofy at times. He cut his tendons by panicking & jumping the round pen panels because I tried to pet him. Normally he was a dog & people oriented, but sometimes a flip would switch and he'd turn into a wild mustang. We have a few King Fritz in my area that aren't crossed on running blood and they're 3D-4D. One is 2D with an aggressive rider

Our neighbor had a King Fritz that I bred my foundation mare to twice. Both foals are in their teens now, but both are 2D barrel horses and 1D (20.00 second) pole horses. Love them!

Check out this place, http://bbarb.com their breeding program is based on King Fritz. They have a production sale every year, I have a 3 year old that came out of it last year that’s by a race bred stud and out of a line bred King Fritz mare. They seem to have good minds, there’s quite a few that have made very nice polo ponies. Mine is at the colt starter right now and is doing excellent... I’ve heard nothing but nice things about her and how trainable she is.
