One of the benefits of our salvation is the UNION we have WITH Christ. When we TRUST Jesus alone to save us, His life, death and resurrection BECOME our life, death and resurrection. " if we truly unite with Chris in salvation, we will also join with Him in the persecution and suffering He endured 1 Peter 2:20-24 "And when we SEEK God, your hearts shall llve" v 32 this who truly SEEK God will live forever because IN CHRIST they are ALREADY Victorious over the persecution and suffering that WILL come their way. Though evildoers may crowd around you, IN Christ you have ALREADY OVERCOME! For this reason' LET heave and earth PRAISE Him, the seas and everything that moves IN them. V 34 REGARDLESS of the timing of His coming, IN Christ you PERSEVERE NOW. PRAISE God for your UNION with Jesus, and REST in VICTORY He won at the cross on your BEHALF. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
