Super frustrating... I watched the live feeds of my event this last weekend so I could keep up since it was a few hour drive and I wasn't up until Sunday. PRCA doesn't post the breakaway results so that was the only way I knew what was going on.

Car race tracks have the same rules. It's semi-enforced if they catch you and know you, they can ban you from the grounds.
The basic premise is that the tracks are losing money because you aren't paying to get into the event. I 110% can see their point. But grandma, who doesn't need to be out in 40 degree weather can't see little Timmy race. Sucks on both sides, but they are trying to get people off of their butts to keep venues open.
Is it pertinent that people KNOW what's going on in order to arrive at a certain time?? NO! Since vehicle hauling of animals to events began, you hurry up and wait. Results never were posted until days after events. Is is nice to know...heck yeah!
BUT supporting venues and organizations should come first so they don't go belly up because people don't show up to watch, buy food and drinks, etc.
