I was shopping around on the 5 star site and noticed that they now have equine support boots. Does anyone know how they compare to the other support boots out there?

They look exactly like the Pro Orthopedic sport boots which I like a lot. I've switched over to polos mostly but my Pros held up extremely well compared to most other boots (CE, Iconoclast).

I know she isn't a fan favorite but Fallon Taylor did a tack review. She seemed to like them a lot. She said they were pricey comparatively speaking since they're similar to others on the market.

I watched it too. She mentioned that they were ok the thinner side of material but she really liked that. I think if you have the extra money and want to match then go for it. By personally I'll probably stick with Iconoclast if I'm going to go the double strap route.

Makes me wonder if Pro is making them for 5 Star. Wouldn't surprise me - owners are very similar.

I've gotten my hand on a pair... They are thin but the straps are very bulky and awkward. Once you get them tight enough to give any support the straps are sticking off the back of the boot by about an inch. It's hard to get the straps to lie down. I even tried a smaller size and had the same issue with the straps. Pretty boot tho...
The boots seem like an exact compy of the PRO boots. I'm sure PRO is making the boot and 5 star is only covering the straps but I can't say for sure who they are using to produce the boot. Either way, I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy a pair. I like the Legacy by Classic and my Bar F too much and I feel like both of those options offer better support for my guy. They're cheaper and fit much better on my particular horse. Maybe my horse just has odd legs but I wasn't really a fan. Pretty tho.
