| Not necessarily, as long as you vent the BOT pad into the opening at the withers. |

              Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I dont think so I use a BOT liner under my 5 Stars to help keep them cleaner and been doing this for years and never had a problem and it dont defeat the purpose of my pad, but sometimes I get in a hurry and dont use my BOT I see no difference.. I like the liner since its so thin.. Whats the purpose for you useing the liner? |

     Location: Georgia | Dani, I use one under my flex fit. I guess I could cut it a little in the front but I just make sure its pulled up real far to give wither clearance. |

I spent an hour and a half last month cleaning my less-than1-year-old 5 Star pad.....that made me buy the liners!!
My gelding has had a sore back recently, so maybe the liner helps, but my purpose was to keep my pads cleaner. :) |

Yep the liners do serve their purpose... I love mine under my pads, cleaner pads and I like the fact it helps with warming up back muscles  |
