| REMEMBER this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, and that a foolish people has blasphemed Your Name. Oh, do not deliver the life of Your turtledove to the wild beast! For the dark places of the earth are full of the haunts of cruelty. Psalm 74:18-20
The experience of suffering under God's discipline benefits us in many ways. First, we recall the power ,knowledge and greatness of God. Vv12-17 For God IS my King from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth You divided the sea by Your strength: You broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters. We are driven to pray vv18-23
This attitude and action must be continual elements of our lives.
While experiencing God's judgment, the psalmist recalled the GREATNESS of God. The pslamist prayed for deliverance , KNOWING GOD was His ONLY hope. When we REMEMVER God's GREATNESS AND CRY OUT to Him IN prayer, it is evidence of a RETURN to Him. Our loving Father, in Hs omniscience , will allow us to stay in the suffering unit we are COMPLETELY surrendered to Him and He has ACCOMPLISHED His purpose IN us. REST ASSURED He WILL NOT FORGET YOU! For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN
