Location: somewhere between lost & found | I'm looking for some ideas about prizes at our weekly barrel race. There will be bigger awards at the end, but was wondering if you guys have gotten some things you really enjoy that are inexpensive to moderately priced. Whether you've gotten them at a barrel race or elsewhere.
These will be done via random drawing.
Thanks. |

| I would keep it small, bags of treats, quarts of healthy coat, a tube of a popular paste (several are in the $10 range), you might even find that the companies give you a break on price as awards. I’ve been at races where they gave the crying hole a gas card etc...don’t short your series awards at the expense of a weekly handout though. |

Location: CTX | We have a producer who sometimes gives little prices to the fast time in the drag. Bell boots, halters, brushes, buckets. Another one sometimes gives away an entry fee to a future race to someone that knocked over a barrel. I also like the gas card, or something to the last hole in a D. |

The reason I wanted to do a random drawing is because then the only people walking away with something are not the same people that win something all the time. These will be small items and will not take the place of other bigger prizes in the series. We would do three give-aways per night. |
