| If faith is good enough to save you, it is good enough to liv by and to KEEP you. You are ETERNALL SECURE IN CHRIST, NOW and FOREVER. Since being unresponsive, unperceptive, unteachable, and unrighteous is our natural state, something outside us MUST INTERVENE to ENABLE us to BECOME responsive to the gospel, perceptive to the things of God, teachable, and righteous before Him. Now, since we are indeed raised out of spiritual death (that is, BORN AGAIN) And since we are unable to perform this work on ourselves, than we must conclude it is God who initiates our salvation. In other words, the origin of our salvation lies NOT within us, but WITH God Himself. He takes the initiative. He convicts us of sin. He convinces us of our righteousness IN Him. He CALLS out of the darkness INTO His MARVELOUS LIGHT. He REDEEMS us for His OWN. What is the outcome of this MARVELOUS SALVATION provided us in Christ? It means we ARE SECURE...Just as we are NOT saved by performing good works, we are NOT kept by performing good works.
For it is WITH God ALL things are possible.
Father God, guide me today and ALWAYS to do ALL things that will bring GLORY and HONOR to You. HELP me LIVE by FAIT TODAY and NOT by what I see or sense. One day my faith will become sight and I will look UPON Your face. In Jesus' name Amen   |
Salvation means we are SECURE for eternity...
