| Someone was telling me about the horse hydrator. After looking it up , it seems pretty identical to the RV water filters. Anyone use one ? Thanks ! |

I did custom fitting for years back in the 90's and used the RV filters way back then.

Location: Somewhere around here | Well I don't know about the similarity or differences between the HH and the RV one, but my horse really likes my HH and only drinks water from it when we're trailered somewhere. It's been a Good send for him. |

Location: East Texas | We use the HH when we have one that will not drink on the road. I am not a big believer in most "horse products", but this one works with our horses. We were on the road and had a horse not drinking. Someone was selling them on site and we got one. I put two buckets in the horse's stall one filtered and one not filtered.....horse only drank out of the bucket that had been filtered.
Now will a typical RV filter work? Maybe, I have not tried one. |

| I have horse hydrator. Works great! RV is probably cheaper, but honestly they last so long its worth the price. |

That was my thoughts. Its 12.00 for TWO at walmart and HH is 25-30.00 for ONE. |

Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | I have had a HH for about a month now. Used it 4 times in our 2 big tanks, horses have been drinking a lot more. That is good to know about the RV filters, didn't know that. May have to pick one up and test the HH with it and see what the horses do. |

Location: North Dakota | I have a horse hydrator and the horses really seem to like the water when I filter it vs not. It's spendy, but it's a lot cheaper than a vet bill due to colic:) |

Both my horses drink very well on the road never had a problem except for one rodeo in Las Vegas. For whatever reason, they hate the water there. lol Just weird. But I figured I would pick one up and just carry it in my trailer. Can't hurt! |

Location: Claremore, OK | RV filters at Walmart. Usually you can buy them very reasonably in a twin pack. Charcoal vs. coconut fiber is fine with me.
The young horses I haul are much more likely to drink when it’s filtered.

| Horse Hydrator actually has both types of filters within it. The more traditional KDF 55 Medium and an Activated Coconut Carbon filter. The coconut carbon has a higher volume of microspores to trap contaminants more readily. It's more than a regular RV filter and honestly, I've never gotten 2000 gallons of water through an RV filter before they plug up. |
