How much are you feeding? And are you adding any other feed with it?

Feed rates are similar to original Renew Gold or slightly less. If your roughage is good, additional concentrates should not be necessary. I am always happy to go over individual diets on the phone. The office number is 530-934-9300.

I didn't even know that Renewgold had a senior feed. I'll have to ask our local Tractor supply to get it

Tractor Supply only brings new products in twice per year, February and August. So both the new Senior and our horse treats will be on the next change in August. In the mean time, any independent feed store that carries Renew Gold can get the Senior now.

Our horses meet me at the gate hoping that I have one in my pocket. Our sales rep in Southern CA says that he has gained ten pounds since we brought them out.

LMBO, so glad I am not the only one who thinks that!!! I won't lie, I will sneak a little bite when I give them a couple.
My big boy will lick my hands after I give him a couple to make sure he gets all the crumbs! These are the only cookies he does it with!

My mare loves her RG treats! And yep I have tasted them myself and they aren't too bad. My mare has an old poll injury which causes her to shake her head horrible at times. I have started doing a lot of stretches with her with the RG treats and since we have started she has stopped shaking her head.

I got like 5 free bags after sending in my RG UPC codes. :) Is that deal still going on because I have more UPCs I could send in! lol

I can't wait for TSC to get the senior feed in!! I will definitely be requesting it.

Thanks Win, good to know. I've asked our local store (which has regular RG on hand) if they could get the treats and they told me they couldn't.
So will have to get through till TSC can get it in stock.

Made my first couple of runs this weekend after my horses had been on the senior few weeks now . They for sure were firing harder with absolutely no problems focusing. I'm happy!

This is exactly what Senior is designed to do. Not for every horse, and not an original Renew Gold replacement. But, if you are hauling an active use Senior, or road warrior performance horse, this can be a good choice.

UPC's from the Renew Gold, or Renew Gold Senior bags. Send the next 5 with a note saying I told you to do that. We will ship you extras.

You are awesome, Win!!! Now, if you could only get our TSC to keep RG on hand at all times, that would be great! It's always out of stock when we go to buy it.

TSC is like pushing an elephant down the street. One step at a time. If you do the “rain check” deal they will hold it for you when it comes in. Plus, their computer system shows that the store needs to stock more. Wish it was easier.
