| We’re on the hunt for a higher end brand
What are your favorite Midwest dealers? I think I’ve probably looked at all of them, but maybe I missed one!
We are in Iowa so trying to stay in IA, MN, WI, IL, MO, KS, NE - would go to Oklahoma or South Dakota if we needed to...or delivery works if they have a great reputation that exactly what was represented is going to show up in the driveway. |

So far my dinette set requirement seems to be the dealbreaker. I have found a number of trailers that fit my requirements if I wanted a sofa... |

Jims Motors in MO is a good one. They carry Elite.
Rowland Trailer Sales in So. IL (smaller dealer but great service) Platinum & Keifer |

Location: NW MT | Darrel Whitman of Whitman Trailers Sales in MO was wonderful - just loved that man. That is who I bought my 4 Star from, but looks like they might not be in business anymore. (he was an older gentleman last time I saw him). I would bet Rowland's would be good too.

Used to maximize our budget.
Higher end brands - Elite, Platinum, 4Star any of those I would buy without question. I’ve heard good things about Twister, but never climbed around in one. Bloomers don’t seem to be getting into our budget much for 2010 or newer.
Jim’s doesn’t have anything listed, I think I may have looked at Rowland too |

Location: Roping pen | Mid Plains in Kearney, NE is the best Elite dealer period! We shopped and shopped for our last Elite and they beat everyone's price by 10%.
They happily put different tires/rims on our new trailer as I wanted 19.5s. Had issue with one of the tires and they replaced all 5 and had the local tire shop balance and put them on for free saving us a 200 mile drive.
Have lots of clients that have went thru them and nothing but great results and prices. They are Elite's biggest dealer I have been told.
We bought a Hart LQ thru Central States in OK City and that was a great experience. All done over the phone and all as agreed with no issues.
Had issues with Arena Trailers in Minn. on a Cimarron. Would not go back.
Good luck! |
