Location: Pacific Northwest | My colt gets gelded on Friday. I just got his papers/transfer papers so I was going to wait to send them in so I could also have it stamped that he was gelded. My question is what is an acceptable way of doing this? I emailed AQHA and they just said I needed to send in a signed statement. Like...a piece of paper simply saying he was gelded on this date and I sign it? Is that all?

| In the upper right corner of the TRANSFER REPORT is the GELDED BRACKET ..
FILL IT OUT AND SEND REG PAPERS, TRANSFER REPORT AND MONEY ..

Well that’s embarrassing, I haven’t even looked at the transfer papers yet. Maybe I should have |

Location: Southern Indiana | Yep its pretty simple...and they don't stamp them anymore. They just issue a whole new paper.
Imagine if they required a picture....what a job that would be!!! |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | yep, easy peasy...or you can be a dope like me and send one in to say "gelding" that already does. opps, but never fear, they crossed out "Gelding" and stamped "Gelding" right next to it. |

Whoever prints the papers is going to love me. The breeder submitted his paperwork the day before I bought him, I just got the papers, and now they’re going to have to print him new paperwork since I’m having him gelded haha |

That literally made me laugh out loud
It was probably some poor new person who was like “well...I guess I will just stamp it anyway???” Hahahaha |
