Location: Louisiana | Husband FINALLY got his buckskin he's always wanted. And we can't decide on the perfect name...
I have looked through every name thread on here, for horses and babies LOL.
Any new, unique ideas? Doesn't have to be related to his pedigree, we just want a really cool name. Western, ranchy, etc.

Our broodmare we bought almost 2 years ago is still "the mare" because we never chose a name LOL. |

 IMO.... Friday isn't as common as Diesel, so I say it's a winner! |

We had a bay mare called Jimmy and a male kerr dog we called Kate...
I'm no help, I'm awful with names, woulda just called him Champ or Buck or Bucky....

Same, nothing seems to ever get a name unless it comes with a name. I firmly believe, you name it and it'll die! Everything from a cat, dog, chicken, horse or cow. The one's you name and get attached to will be the first one's that die on ya. Currently we have, the yellow mare, dun mare, the old man, the big brown gelding, the pony, **** dog, and cat dog(which I guess could be considered a name). Everything else on the place has a name they came with or the kids named it something ridiculous, like cookie or snowflake
 , then you find yourself holler for the 16+ hand gelding across the pasture named cookie, who has not a single sweet thing about him.
So... don't name him.... |
