I’ve got my colt in a Jim Edwards v correctional on the slider shanks and I’m really liking it. I also ride and warm my finished horse up in it and it keeps him nice and square. It looks like a lot of bit, but I’ve found them both to be nice and relaxed in it. My colt has an old tongue injury so he really seems to like the tongue relief, plus he doesn’t have much feeling in his tongue so bits that rely on tongue pressure are pretty pointless on him.

I like a draw bit or something with a loose curb and a lot of gag.

I am a huge fan of the sweet six. It come in multiple mouthpieces. You might also look at a Goosetree gag.
