Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I would want to see him in person. I have seen 2 sons of Tres Seis that look so great in their ads and then when I saw them in person it was a huge disapointment. There just wasn't any horse there. One had no profile, just ick and was very bench kneed. Had no substance what so ever. GELDING IMO but he has one a dab at the futurities. The other has a great profile, from about 20 feet away I was impressed, but again as he got close there just isn't any bone structure. I don't think he weighed more than 950. and couldn't have been 15 hands if that. He's just not a stud that would get my interest. Height isn't everything but as a stallion, I want a stallion that LOOKS like a stallion. 1200+ and 15.1-15.3 is perfect for what we do with them. They need the bone too of course. So anyways, I am a bit jaded on the Tres Seis lines anymore. BV's topside could sure add the thickness...but in that picture he sure looks fine made. |
