I like to ice legs after a run. I’m currently using ice packs and standing bandages which works nice. However my trailer freezer doesnt get cold enough to refreeze the packs very quickly, even overnight is a stretch. Hoping the new trailer fridge will do better since it is a separate freezer, but not holding my breath. If nothing else it’ll be bigger so I can keep 2 sets in there.
I’ve considered Hidez too but I don’t have the extra cash at the moment for that kind of investment, nor do I really want to have to haul a bags of ice around all over the place.

I sold these for years when they first came out (I no longer do) but I will tell you that people either LOVED them or HATED them! lol If you are methodical about wrapping and precise and take care you will love them. They stay cold (even in my hot tack trailer during the summer), easy to pack, etc. BUT if you are a slam and jam, no patience, just want something to quickly wrap and go – these are not for you. Just wanted to share my experience with them. The blankets however - AMAZING. These are a great item to just have handy.

Have to be meticulous about how you store them. And the above is right with taking the time to put them on correctly. I'm more of a lets wrap and go to run the next horse.
I like the blankets but felt like they didn't stay cool for very long once on the back.
