Expert Posts: 5290	I bought a pair of the reinsman bit guards that fit together like puzzle pieces. My horse can get the smaller neoprene ones inside his mouth. Anyway, long story short I noticed he was drooling and foaming at the sides of his mouth which he never does. Well, he blistered on both sides In a perfect circle of where the bit guards were! He even lost all the hair from the bottom of his chin where the spit pooled!!! This was last week. Skin has since peeled off, perfect circle on both sides. Doesn’t seem to bother him at all AP lesson learned I guess. Anyone ever heard of this?
