| Hey guys, just sat in the ER with odd symptoms because I'm apparently allergic to Jimson weed! I've seen it before but didn't know what it was nor paid attention to it. My lovely boyfriend picked one of their flowers and gave it to me last night; what we thought was a morning glory, but this morning I woke up with blurred/off vision and one dilated eye that progressed to both. Didn't realize that's what it was until the doctor's called poison control. Anyway I thought I would spread the word as I didn't know it was so toxic!! It's also poisonous to animals and can cause colic in horses..so brush hog your pastures and don't touch it! It's also called Jameson weed, Devil's Apple, etc. Look it up! Poor boyfriend's feeling terrible now. Lol |

| Yep. Grows all over down here in So Cal. There were some farm workers one time that thought it would be fun to smoke it. Killed all of them in their sleep. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Crazy stuff, they can make a medicine out of the leaves and seeds of this plant and some make a herbel tea out of it also.. Some have died trying the tea and smoking this plant

| Thanks guys! I really had no clue, just thought it was a morning glory he picked me. Thought I'd spread the word as I have lived, and live and work on a farm and never heard to watch it! He feels so so bad, he's apologized over and over but it would've happened eventually anyways! He made me ribs, asked to refill my wine, and has catered to me tonight so it's all good  |

In Ca, there is an actual “Loco Weed”. It doesn’t look like Gypsum Weed but it’s also poisonous. It causes hallucinations in people and horses. |
