My one and only truly loved pair of ariats with a crepe sole are separating from the leather sole. It’s two parts, crepe sole attached to leather sole. How do you fix this? I want to do it the correct way and keep my boots awhile longer.
You "can" glue the sole back on BUT ...... as the wife of a long time shoe repair guy .... he wil charge you twice as much to fix your "screw up" ...... they make a special "shoe" glue for repair of loose crepe soles .... it is worth the money to get it done right!
