Hello everyone
Been a while since I've posted. But I thought if anyone would know a solution, it would be you ladies!
I'm running into serious issues getting my horse moved from Kentucky to Colorado. I moved out here in January, but I couldn't haul him at the time. I have a horse trailer, but no truck. I was simply going up rent a truck, but on top of milage and gas in the thing, they want $350 a day to rent one for a one way trip!
Any suggestions. I'm racking my brain. My friend is keeping him for me, but I don't want to keep paying her to board him indefinitely. I really want my boy out here and I don't know anyone who will haul him.
Thanks.

On FB there are several groups you can join that have haulers posting their routes and people requesting their horse be hauled. If you can find a hauler that needs to fill a hole you might get a lower “fill” rate. Generally a normal rate is about $1 a mile but could be more or less depending on hauler and situation.
