Mark 11:17 Then He taught ,saying to them, " Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a "den of thieves."
It is interesting to note that the disciples asked Jesus, " Lord, TEACH us to pray" Luke 11:1. They NEVER asked Him to teach the to preach or organize , mobilize. According to gospel reacords , the ONLY THING these faithful followers requested was that Jesus teach them to pray. They observed Him for three years. They saw the intensity and frequency of His own personal prayer life. They KNEW that if they could capture the essence of prayer they would be well on their way to preaching and doing any other ministries their Lord called them to do. Let pray take precedence today and make it your priority and not a sort of tagged on afterthought to the business of the day.
Lord, TEACH me to pray to make it a priority in my life.. guide me to do ALL things that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO You AMEN
For it is WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
