Who has experience with a partial tear in the SDFT? Not high, not low.  We are going on 2 months of stall rest.  PRP, cold hose, equioxx for a time, BOT, magnawave, constant standing bandage, etc.. doing everything possible it seems and working closely with vet.  I would just love to hear some success stories.

Mine wasn't a partial tear, it was a complete sever and partially nicked the deep digital flexor and required surgery. He was in a cast for 8 1/2 weeks, then a support bandage for a few more weeks. I started hand walking and trotting (I honestly can't remember how many months out it was), and then started LIGHT riding at 9 months. Worked my way up to regular riding, started loping through the pattern at about 15 or so months, and entered his first post-injury race at 22 months.
Started out on strict stall rest, upgraded to a SMALL pen attached to his stall after a few months, then a big pen at 16 months, and then unrestricted turnout a month or two after that.
It was a very long recovery, but my vet wanted to be very careful and not allow too much too soon. He recovered beautifully, he just has a little scar tissue in that leg at the site of the injury.
After his support bandage came off, I used a BOT quick wrap religiously. Once he was on unrestricted turnout, I put a PHT quick wrap on him 24/7. I made sure to warm him up really well before any strenuous work and if I thought he was favoring that leg at all, I backed off. During regular exercising, I didn't and still don't use boots or wraps, but I ALWAYS use hind boots at races and for any type of pattern work if I'm going faster than a trot.
For tendon injuries, BOT or PHT are my go-to therapies, along with adding MSM and gelatin to their diet.

I just rehabbed a horse this summer that had a tear at the same location you had. Mine was more than 25% torn. The horse was just loping the pattern and was a craigslist find, so after hand walking 2x per day wrapping and then only doing 12 hrs wrapped, 12 hours not at 1.5 months the vet I was working with at the time rechecked and said to start riding. I did and did some small pen turn out. I did 2 rounds of shock wave, pht, bot, and super green liniment under the standing wraps. I also cold hosed for about 15-20 mins after walks or riding.

Then I got a second opinion from a vet with a much better ultrasound machine. He measured the tear and saw some thickening on the DDFT. He advised me not to try to make her a performance horse. I made the decision to sell the mare to a friend who knew the mares story and wanted an old lady safe trail horse. It was a perfect fit. Shes sound, but with where she was in training and the minimal investment I had in her it wasn't worth trying to make her finished and risk her being in pain.

I had a gelding that had a similar injury. I did the above with him and after 8 months of rehab I sent him to the Owens at CEP. He completely healed and it was hard to tell where the lesion was after. He was a finished horse so I thought it was worth the time and expense.

Taking your suggestion and adding MSM. :)
