John 8:12 I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall NOT walk in darkness , but have the light of life.
Followers of Christ NEVER walked through the valley of death, ONLY THROUGH THE SHADOW of the valley of death. Psalm 23:4.
The Lord Jesus Himself, however, walked through the valley of death. For three days and nights, He walked that valley, and then emerged from the empty tomb and said, BEHOLD, I haves the keys of death and of Hades. Revlation 1:18
So the believers walks THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death. A shadow may horrify, but it CANNOT harm. And David walked " the rough the valley of the shadow of death" because that is what we do with a shadow; we simply walk through it.
Also, the only way you can have a shadow is to hav a GREAT LIGHT SHINING. Jesus said, " I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD."John 8:12
We believers therefore deal with ONLY the shadow of death.
The light of the WHOLE world is Jesus. If you are walking THROUGH the shadow in the valley, trials of life, KEEP walking, Jesus is near VERY near. For it is with God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me today and ALWAYS TO DO ALL THINGS that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN
