How does everyone keep their ice packs for ice boots frozen for 3 days for horses? My freezer in the trailer isn’t big enough for all the ice packs for the ice horse boots. I’ve tried putting them in a separate cooler with bags of ice but it melts and the don’t stay frozen. Anybody have any tips? My next thing was to put them in with dry ice but I would rather not use that if I don’t need to.

The struggle is real. I have 2 sets so I can alternate, but even then my RV freezer sometimes doesn’t get them completely re frozen.
For this reason I am considering eventually investing in the Hidez Ice Socks. Friggin expensive and to have to buy ice on top of it is frustrating, but I also see the upside. I’d also be able to make my team roper husband happy when I’m in slack and he’s in the perf and he has to wait on me to ice legs before we can head home since I could leave them on the in the trailer.
