2 Corinthians 5:20 We ARE ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Chirst's behalf, be reconciled to God.
We are sent from heaven to this foreign land called earth to be His representives. We HAVE RESURRECTION POWER when we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. We are to be Christ's ambassadors on our block, in our schools, at our office and wherever we may go.
in order to truly represent our King with honor and integrity, we should KNOW we have citizenship in heaven. Philippians 3:20
We may reside in the world, but we are NOT to be of the world. John 17:12-17 as representatives of Christ, we sold possess the highest moral qualities. Paul said, "He died for all, that those who live should not longer live for themselves, but for Hi who died for them and rose again." 2 Corinthians 5:1. Christ expects those of us who represent Him in our wold to live for Him with conduct that becomes our office.
It takes a special person to be His ambassador in a combat zone. That assignment demands not only pure character and proper conduct but personal actions that are consistent with those of Christ's.
We must also be communicating the wishes, desires, and commands of our Leader to those among whom we live. Otherwise, we have fallen short of our calling and our tasks. As Christ's ambassadors,we have a single purpose; to implore others on Christ's behalf ; to be reconciled to God. This is our assignment. This is our task. In order to accomplish it, we must take on all the characteristics of an ambassador. We have been appointed by our King to be His ambassadors. For it is WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Father God, guide me today and always to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN
