What is your experience with Streakin Six horses? What do they cross well on?

Anyone have any colts by Part Of Six?

Streakin Six is a continuation of the Easy Jet line. Streakin Six is one of the most trainable lines in barrel racing, probably from the Easy Jet background. Many Sreakin Six horses have been to the NFR. Probably the most notable wa Stitch/Sixth Vision, Britney Pozzi Tonozzi's horse. Streakin Six crossed on Dash For Cash is pretty hard to beat. You have the two most prolific bloodlines in barrel racing.

I had a daughter of Streakin Six out of a Moon Lark mare. I was blessed to get 4 babies out of her. They are all very athletic, smart, and willing. They can be a little hot and feisty if they get frustrated or anxious but they all have a HUGE heart. Mine have been late maturing as well but that is okay, I am not in a hurry. They have good bone and are very gritty.

I have a son of Streakin Four Sixes (By Streakin Six) out of a Royal Quick Dash dgtr that was the easiest, most natural horse I ever started. Breaking him out was a breeze and he took to the pattern right away. Very very push style. I would take 100 more just like him. The only "negative" thing I can say about him is he does not want to be drilled on.

Talented. Natural. Powerful. Big.

My first home grown colt was a Streakin Six paternal Great Grandson. His dam was a double bred Dash For Cash mare. Little Merridoc thrown in there too. Super trainable. He didnt have a clue how powerful he actually could be. Big boy too, taller than both his parents. Unforunately he & I clashed too much and I ended up selling him to a close friend. They've been a rockstar team. Immediately was clocking in the 1D with her. This year he was introduced to his first pro rodeo and held his own with some of the big girls. I would not mind another with something close to his bloodlines at all.

Posting this for Chander's Mom...
Streakin Six/DFC grandson.

The year after I bought Dan, I went looking for another horse--and I needed one just like Dan. . . Dead broke, kid's horse and "Debra proof". We went to Ft Smith to look at Faci and found a 16.3, 5 year old, giant of a horse! My (horse expert) friends were thinking young horse plus green rider equals bad idea. But Beck rode him first and told me she thought I should try him; they led him to a dually tailgate and I climbed aboard--you would have thought this was the only way he had ever been mounted. I bought him about 2 months later, and he was my second horse blessing after my wreck.

I've had barrel racers try to buy him, and I've been told he was wasted by not running barrels. No, not true. He fulfilled his purpose by taking care of me, being that big shoulder I needed during an awful divorce, and carrying me around the farm, up the mountains, and in arenas. . . . I've seen him flat out fly, but y'all already know horses bred this way can run. I just wanted to add that they can also be sweet and calm; Faci can be a little sensitive to his surroundings at times, but my big guy is a treasure to me. One of Chan's non-horsey friends has been riding him lately around the farm, and he looked petrified at first! But Faci just plods around cause he knows who's on him. He's 23 this year, and I pray I have many more years with him.

LOL, I think the Streakin Six's bred horses are da bomb, if I were younger I would have loved to have my Firewater Flit mare bred, Jennifer offter to breed her to El Scorcho, but a baby takes a lot of energy to raise, break, and train and I'm passed that stage in life, LOL. I hope a few BB's will take the 6666's up on that offer, I would love to follow and watch how it all comes into place. Rick {1d Soon} or Spencer {Whiteboy}  please take up the offer that the 6666's is offering I want to watch that baby grow up, I know you guys have the mare power

I have a own son of Streakin Six that I bought from Charmayne 2 years ago. He is a sweetheart and this year he had his first foal crop for us and a few clients. So far we are very happy with the sweet kind dispositions of the babies not to mention they are all built well with good bone.
His name is Always Sixes.

Re crossing on Moon Lark: you could be describing my 4 yo gelding a grandson of FG on top... he’s late maturing, can hit pi**y or anxious if frustrated, great bone. For a long time it seemed he “didn’t want to be a barrel horse”. But he’s athletic as heck, and seems to be getting more consistent, finally, though he will still throw you a curve ball, occasionally. Do you think this could be the Moon Lark in him? Supposedly the FG stud he’s out of produces easily trainable colts. This one was slower n stubborn...?

I love mine! He is super broke and so quiet! I can and do put anyone on him he is so so kind! The previous owner kept him as a stud until he was 9 and then gelded. I bought him at 11yrs old and you would never know other than if you pasture him with mares and geldings he gets pretty protective with the mares. Rides around so nice and is flashy! I've had quite a few people ask to buy him and although we butt heads in the barrel pen some days it's just so hard to get rid of a horse like him, so so nice to be around. Great mind and just wants to be loved on!

I actually just picked up another gelding of the track that goes back to SS as well but a bit further and on the dams side. Pretty darn excited about him too!
