Location: Kansas | I found it interesting that at 9:30 yesterday morning while FOX was fully involved in honoring this day, CNN and MSNBC were fully involved in Trump-bashing.

Shame on them, this day should have been about 9/11 and honoring all the first responders and famileys that lost their loved ones.

| Before the Royal's game last night a ceremony honoring the Fallen from 9/11 on and the First Responders was held. It was fantastic! Even service dogs were honored. A disabled veteran (blinded from an IED attack) threw out the first pitch ( actually made a great throw!) ! The Royals may be in last place but they are first in my heart. It was an incredible ceremony - not a dry eye in the stadium.
Thank you everyone for posting on the 9/11 page. I have made copies of the message and will be sending it to my son's SOF team that is bringing the fight to the doorsteps of the insurgents. When BHW was first started we would talk alot of my son's baseball and our community here would always encourage him. Now as a Special Operations Forces Solider he does some insane things that worry me sick but I sure am proud of him and all the others serving and especially those who serve in combat roles. Again - thanks to everyone! |

Location: Kansas | You and my sister who lives in Olathe......forever Royals fans no matter what. She and her husband just completed a mission to visit every major league stadium in the USA. Ironically the last visit this past Monday was AT&T Park in San Francisco, the home of my favorite team the Giants.
I hope your son knows how much we all appreciate his service. What would we do without the soldiers who protect us. |

| Check out this video from yesterday. Not too far from me, a bald eagle landed on an aerial fire truck being used for a 9/11 display. Absolutely gives me goosebumps!
