| A few within reach of 15th place. I don’t think we will see major changes. I think the first week of October they release the qualifiers.

| It’s pretty tight from 10 down. Think it’ll be a dog fight this last couple weekends. The NFR will be exciting for sure! I wonder if Lisa will only run Louie or if she will crack out Rosa. I’m rooting for her I feel like it’s her turn to win a world championship! |

Yes he does and even if Lisa mostly runs Rosa, if she earns that world title I am giving the props to my man Louie. |

Everyone thought that about Tianny last year too and look what happened. There's plenty of opportunity there still for someone else to sneak up at it in those 10 days |

| A few years ago Rusty Wright went into the Saddle Bronc in the #15 seat. He left after 10 days as the world champion. Stuff can happen. It will be fun to see how it all plays out. |

| What is the opinion on the NFR paying out so much that it will make the WC? Of course the money is great that's not what I am asking. |

IMO if you can climb the ladder with THAT kind of pressure and jump over the 14 or X number of girls ahead of you. . . you sure dang sure have the mindset and physical ability of a world champion
It does make me sad to see some girls go down in the standings because their horse struggles with that particular set up. Some like Amberleigh Moore have an advantage - that horse just dominates that pen. That's rodeo I guess! |

How much do I mark you down for?

I'm not making any wagers on anything, things can change & things can change fast & will in those 10 days with that money. Things are going to shake up so much by the end of it. With the way Tianny did last year at the NFR, we all thought for sure Hailey was going to swoop in and take it with the runs she was having and she lost by next to nothing to Nellie. I'm not counting Nellie & her Sister out at all, she could easily pull it off a second year

I think that's the fun in it. Its the biggest rodeo of the season (not sure if it has the biggest payout or not?). Its what those girls have ran and worked hard for. It should pay enough to make a world champ. When you think about it, they are the top 15 out of hundreds. If they went in with 10 runs to go and only 2 people had a chance, that's not very fun. An outstanding rodeo horse can handle whatever you throw at them and a lot of it is being able to handle the stress and the pressure. At the end of the day they have all earned it, now see who can really buckle down and win it! |

Not to mention the stress and the pressure of the whole year to get there. Hauling multiple rigs, armies of horses, plane rides jumping from rodeo to rodeo, all the things they have to do for the sponsors all year long. Only being home a couple weeks of the year. Being on of those girls sounds like a dream, but when you think about all they have to do just to get there for those 10 runs its insane. Yes some make it there with one or two horses, but they still have backups in the wings in case something happens. I go to weekend jackpots usually within a couple hours from home and occasionally a 4 day event, running one horse and exhibitioning one and by the time I come home Sunday night I want to sleep for a week. I wouldn't survive two weeks on the rodeo road.
And also the money involved for those girls to get where they're going, what they win seems like a lot but when you factor in the cost of getting there it's nothing. They just want to be there, I'm sure to a lot of them even just making it to the NFR in the first place is good enough in itself and the WC is just the icing on the cake. It's a battle there and I think it rightly should pay enough to shake things up and give any of those 15 girls a shot. They're all so scattered at different rodeos throughout the year for most of the time and for them all to be there against each other is super cool. They can get around each other during the year, they know where the top dogs are going to be running so some go other places they think they have a shot of winning at. If I had the option to go to Rodeo A where girls like Nellie, Stevi, or Hailey are going to be or Rodeo B where the girls in the middle of that pack are going to be I'm going to pick Rodeo B and get as much as I can. For them to all have to face each other at the end is the best. This is a little off topic of the original post, but its something that I think a lot of times people don't think much of |

I forgot about Duke. Wonder if Brittany will run him or not? She’s got quite an arsenal in her trailer! I hate we have to wait so long from end of season until NFR! I can’t handle the waiting!! |

You never know which horse is going to be "on" at the right time there. More than once a horse that has kicked butt at the NFR in years prior have come back and been pretty quiet. Anything can happen and so much money is up for grabs that it sure makes for good watching. |

Amberleigh Moore went from #15 to #2 the first year she qualified for the NFR. Anything is possible with the amount of money that gets paid out there. But Hailey and Sister dominated in that pen last year, so it should be a tough one to catch her once they're there. |
