I have a friend that owns and is training one. She seems to like her. She bought her at auction. There was also a half sister in the same sale that went for a very reasonable price as she was a plain sorrel. She was 2, rode bridleless, would put her butt in the ground at a stop. I wish I had been there, I love a good red horse and she had a lot of nice training.
My friends filly is palomino. She seems very smart, willing, and plenty athletic, bold and confident filly.

Sarah Rose had a couple of colts by him. I was able to see them up close. Good looking/ bigger colts. Seemed to ride around good. She had planned to futurity them but sold them when her plans changed.

He was on my short list of studs to breed my mare to because I liked his build and bloodlines, but then I heard that there was difficulty with contracts, shipping and such, so he dropped lower. Didn't really pursue it further than that, so not sure the truth to it. From what I've understood, James Ranch is just hard to work with, so I'm guessing that might be why he had such low numbers.
